USN Pure Protein comes under the ‘whey protein blends’ category, and consists of a mixture of whey protein isolate, whey protein concentrate, egg albumen, calcium caseinate and soy protein isolate.

“I think this stuff is great......am on my 5th tub! It mixes so well, giving a smooth tasty shake. With regards to the flavours... I have tried them all, I think that the chocolate one is the nicest followed by vanilla, then strawberry. Don’t get me wrong strawberry is still good especially in comparison to other strawberry shakes I’ve tried e.g. cyclone. But chocolate and vanilla are excellent. Highly recommended. Good gains. Our verdict:

USN’s Pure Protein is definitely one of our favourites – simply because it’s a protein shake for almost everyone! It’s wheat-free, GM-free and offers you a vast array of vitamins and minerals to keep your body and muscles in tip-top shape.

On the taste test, USN Protein doesn’t rate as highly as other protein shakes, but it is still palatable. It comes in a variety of flavours – including chocolate and vanilla – so you’ll be sure to find a taste to suit you.

With around 40g of protein blend per serving, you get a pretty good amount – but it isn’t as high as some of the other leading competitors. On the other hand though, you do get other vitamins some protein shakes won’t give you.
